Years of service training in the ambulance operations led him to a career in the restaurant industry where he waited tables, tended bar and eventually ended up in fine dining. About Us
Two years of design and development went into Tsunami before sisters Leah Simon and Michele Ezell along with husband Sean, opened its doors in January of 2000.  Since then, TSUNAMI has positioned itself as a premier fine dining establishment for international cuisine.
TSUNAMIís Lafayette property was the first of the two. Four years later a second location in Baton Rouge was opened.  Both finding homes in the center of art and culture in Downtown communities. 

TSUNAMI's  menu focuses on the fresh seafood and diverse dishes. Our menu has remained water cooler conversation with its Japanese and Eastern flare. Our talented chefs are constantly researching trends and emerging ingredients in order to bring new experiences to our customers.  Our menu offers standard sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi and even some with a little enhancement. In addition to our sushi our mouth watering grilled fish and steaks round out the menu sure to please all diners.  Edible art to marvel at.  Tsunami.
